What Is the Net Price Calculator?
The Net Price Calculator helps you understand your estimated actual cost of attending TCR. Instead of looking only at tuition, it factors in typical expenses (books, supplies, and living costs) along with the grants and scholarships you may qualify for.
The calculation provides a personalized estimate of what students with similar financial backgrounds usually pay out of pocket. This is an estimate only and does not represent a formal financial aid offer.

Student Financial Obligations
Financial Obligations
Upon registration, students incur a binding financial obligation to TCR. This includes full payment of tuition and fees, regardless of class attendance. Nonpayment may result in registration cancellation, and accounts with unpaid balances may be sent to collections.
Until the financial obligation is fulfilled, TCR cannot:
- Register a student for future terms
- Release semester grades
- Issue final transcripts
- Grant certificates of completion

- 1Provide a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) by the first day of class
- 2Submit a written request for certification of VA benefits
- 3Provide any required additional documentation to complete enrollment certification

Financial Aid FAQs
Common Questions
All students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). Many scholarships and grants also require a submitted FAFSA.
What is federal student aid?
Federal student aid is financial assistance from the U.S. government to help cover college, career school, or graduate school expenses. It includes:
- Grants: Funds that usually do not need to be repaid.
- Work-Study: Earnings from part-time work while attending school.
- Loans: Borrowed money that must be repaid. Note: TCR does not offer student loans.
What's the difference between grants and loans?
Grants are financial aid that does not require repayment, essentially free money for eligible students based on need or program eligibility.
Loans must be repaid, typically with interest. TCR does not participate in federal student loan programs.
