Steps To Apply

Please note: If you are applying for Nurse Aide, Practical Nursing, Emergency Medical Services, Police Academy, and Early Childhood Professions, these programs have additional requirements. Download the packets.*

When you are ready to apply for school, complete and submit your official application for admission. (There is no fee)

  1. Submit a final official transcript from a previously attended high school or postsecondary institution or GED results, if applicable.
  2. Complete assessment or entrance test requirements for the program for which you are applying. (See Testing and Assessment) Meet Johnna Fender, Testing
  3. If you are applying for Financial Aid, apply at FAFSA.ed.gov and enter our school code (014050).
  4. After you have received an email confirmation that the FAFSA has been sent to the school, you can call Tony Bowling, TCR Financial Aid Officer at 970-874-7671 or email to set up an appointment to review your financial aid.
  5. ** Acceptance Notification

    When you have submitted all required paperwork you will be informed of your acceptance for admission at TCR and will be notified of the next registration dates for the program for which you have applied. You will need to come to TCR in person to finalize your registration. Acceptance letters are mailed approximately three weeks before the programs begin.

    During your registration you will meet with Pam Gilder, Registrar to review your application and all of your checklist items, completing your registration process. You can then meet with Tony Bowling and Becky Standish in the business office.
